Being a trader is exciting, but it’s important to know that it’s not all glamour. The learning curve is high, compensation is based on performance and the emotional dynamics of trading are demanding. We strive to minimize these challenges by providing superior training, mentorship and technology for our traders.

The road to trading at Pries Capital – An Investment Firm is paved with good old-fashioned hard work.

• A typical path to starting a trading career at Pries Capital starts with a screening process. After you apply, you’ll get questionnaire. If all goes well, you get to the interview stage.
• If you’re hired, there’s a basic training phase that lasts about eight weeks. During that time, we’ll teach you all the fundamentals. You’ll learn everything from terminology to software to basic trading strategies.
• Then, you’ll begin your apprenticeship with a senior trader. As your mentor, he or she will give you the guidance you need to become fully independent. This can take anywhere from 18 months to two years. It’s a very thorough process, and 80% of candidates don’t make it. But if you do, rest assured you’ll be primed for success.
